This time, in my next blog post, I would like to share with you an important piece of news, only seemingly unrelated to EU funds and state aid – together with my friends Jan Sakławski and Mariusz Pniewski, after years of working in law firms and other places;) we decided to run our own project together – i.e. a law firm under the name Brysiewicz i Wspólnicy.
Our joint project, in the implementation of which we are assisted by our trusted associates, e.g. Ms Katarzyna Sawicka and Ms Natalia Tezcan, is oriented towards servicing business in its broadest sense, and I believe that with our approach to date, we will be able to jointly solve many, even the most complicated, problems of our clients. We start with a wealth of experience and a large number of already won lawsuits and completed transactions counting on the opportunity to deal with equally complex and challenging projects as before.
As we have done so far, we will try to approach the problems of our clients as if they were our own problems – that is, to provide effective solutions above all, without unnecessarily involving our clients’ time and nerves.
Due to the fact that we practise in various areas of law, I would not call our law firm a boutique, but if anything a multi-specialisation oriented boutique. Obviously, one of our most important areas of interest remains EU funding and state aid, but in addition to specialising in this area, we can also advise without complexes on the process of implementing infrastructure investments, particularly in the field of energy and transport (Jan Saklawski). In addition, we also advise on comprehensive legal services for entities in the IT, new technologies, e-gaming and e-commerce sectors, as well as on technology creation and transfer (Mariusz Pniewski). In addition to these leading specialisations, our team has dealt and continues to deal with many other areas of law at the forefront of corporate advisory (from transactions, reorganisations to complex and multithreaded corporate disputes), all kinds of litigation, administrative proceedings or, finally, taxation.
Featured in our firm’s logo, HMY Britannia, the sailing ship of Kings Edward VII and George V, triumpher of many high seas regattas, is intended to reflect our approach and commitment to the cases we handle – we hope to be equally effective. Law is not only our profession, but above all our passion, and although we sometimes suffer slightly from sleepless nights, each success of our clients gives us the strength to keep fighting.
